Shop Hours: by appointment - just call ahead of when you want to come.
Welcome to Carrico's Creative Corner where I love to share yarns and all the ways to create that something special
My name is Pamela Carrico and I have been in the yarn and knitting machine business since 1979. Because of my recent retirement from full time employment elsewhere, I have new shop hours but still by appointment because my shop is in the country just outside of Bartlesville. As the shop is part of my home, I am very flexible with the appointments. (I have been known to sell yarn late into the evening and chat through knitting problems on the phone even later). The shop is open for appointments 12:00pm to 9:00pm Monday to Friday (mornings for errands) Saturdays 9:00am to 9:pm; Sunday I am open from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
I believe in quality and variety in the yarns I sell. I offer Plymouth yarns, Trendsetter Yarns, Berroco yarns, STWC yarns, Misti Alpaca Yarns, Cascade, Yarns, Tamm Yarns, Recycled Sari Silk by Frabjous Fibers, Millor Yarns, and many other yarns on cones, in balls or skeins/hanks.
I am a dealer/instructor for Silverreed and Taitexma Knitting Machines and offering used brother knitting machines also. I give hands-on lesson with all machines I sell. I also offer sweater blocking & finishing for people who love to knit but don't like this part of their projects.
There is a monthly knitting machine club for inspiration sharing of ideas between friends at which anyone interested in learning knitting and fabric making is invited to
to see what Pamela has designed, created and has for sale
Here are 2 shells made using the short-rowing techniques I showed at April Knitting Machine Club meeting. The green one is made of a hand-dyed cotton and a horizonal application of the fabric created and the second is made using a wool/rayon yarn. in a vertical look of the design. Both made on the LK150 which is the least expensive machine I sell and yet amazingly versatile machine. Modeled by a student - Laura Fadem
