Shop Hours: by appointment - just call ahead of when you want to come.
Welcome to Carrico's Creative Corner where I love to share yarns and all the ways to create that something special
My name is Pamela Carrico and I have been in the yarn and knitting machine business since 1979. Because of my retirement from full time employment at COP, I have new shop hours but still by appointment because my shop is in the country just outside of Bartlesville. As the shop is part of my home, I am very flexible with the appointments. (I have been known to sell yarn late into the evening and chat through knitting problems on the phone even later). The shop is open for appointments 12:00pm to 9:00pm Monday to Friday (I need mornings for errands) Saturdays 9:00am to 9:pm; Sunday I am open from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
I believe in quality and variety in the yarns I sell. I offer Plymouth yarns, Trendsetter Yarns, Berroco yarns, STWC yarns, Misti Alpaca Yarns, Cascade, Yarns, Tamm Yarns, Millor Yarns, and many other yarns on cones, in balls or skeins/hanks. Click on the Yarn to check out links to the yarn companys I carry.
I am a dealer/instructor for Silverreed and offering used brother knitting machines also. I give hands-on lesson with all machines I sell. I offer sweater blocking & finishing for people who love to knit but don't like this part of their projects. I also give lessons to people who are hunting a teacher and already have a machine.
There is a monthly knitting machine club meeting for inspiration sharing of ideas between friends at which anyone interested in learning knitting and fabric making is invited to attend. I invite everyone to a Knit & Crochet for
to see what Pamela has designed, created and has for sale
Cold weather inspired this double cowl is out of acrylic/alpaca yarn. The fringe on the bottom makes it have bigger coverage and the other edge has a yarn given to me that I think it looks like owl feather on it. The color of the yarn is called Fog, so I call this cowl "Owl in Fog".
